Need Area Description
This service package represents the broadcast portion of a 511–type system in the US that collects border crossing information, traffic conditions, advisories, toll information, incident information, roadway maintenance and construction information, air quality and weather information, and broadly disseminates this information through existing infrastructures. The information may be provided directly to travelers or provided to merchants and other traveler service providers so that they can better inform their customers of travel conditions.
