Leverage Innovative Technologies to Improve Regional Connectivity
Description
RTP 2019–2050: Collaborate with Native American tribes, Mexico, military bases, neighboring counties, infrastructure providers, the private sector, and local communities to design a transportation system that connects to the megaregion and national network, works for everyone, and fosters a high quality of life for all. Recognize the vital economic, environmental, cultural, and community linkages between the San Diego region and Baja California.
2019 Strategic ITS Plan: All new mobility infrastructure and services should ensure regional access to data regarding the location, status, and usage of mobility devices and options. This information should be shared fused, integrated, and analyzed in a manner that is focused on making more informed mobility investment and response decisions.
