Flexible, Adaptable, Sustainable Use of Mobility Infrastructure
Description
Technologies and other solutions implemented by the Region must be able to respond to changing user needs, technologies, scarcity of resources, and environmental challenges in a way that does not limit the services provided. Infrastructure should be deployed with technology embedded to ensure the most flexibility, sustainability, and future adaptability.
#5 of the 2019–2050 RTP – Open Space Preservation: Focus growth in areas that are already urbanized, allowing the region to set aside and restore more open space in our less developed areas. Protect and restore our region's urban canyons, coastlines, beaches, and water resources.
