Statement
Protect Parklands, Open Space, and Natural Resource Areas
Description
Provide guidelines on how urbanized areas develop plans for protecting parklands, open spaces, natural resource areas, and farmland. About half of our region's 2.7 million acres have been preserved, and by the year 2050, 55% will be preserved, according to SANDAG's forecast, which is based on local land use plans.
