Caltrans District 11Collects and formats data concerning road and travel conditions from the DOT's traffic management center and the bridge/tunnel operating agency.
Coordinate traveler information with other information service providers including transportation deparments/ministries, border agencies bridge/tunnel operating agencies, etc.
Provide information concerning the conditions of the roadway including bridge or tunnel activity, traffic congestion, incidents, maintenance activity or weather conditions to the traveling public either directly using a website or through the media.
Provide information concerning the conditions of the roadway including, traffic congestion, incidents, or weather conditions to area public safety agencies.
Responsible for developing and operating a 511–type system, allowing travelers to access information (traffic congestion, road weather conditions, and multi–modal) prior to a trip or en route including phone via a 511–like portal, kiosk, Personal Digital Assistant, personal computer, and a variety of in–vehicle devices.
Responsible for posting natural and man–made disaster information on the 511 system.
Responsible for posting wide area alerts including border related incidents and 'amber' alert information on the 511 system.
Share information on road maintenance and construction activities with other agency services and with the regional tranportation authority for their web site.
Collect and disseminate information on border crossing status and schedules.
Mexican Baja SIDURTCollects and formats data concerning road and travel conditions from the ministry's traffic management centre as well as bridge and tunnel operating agency centres.
Collects and formats data concerning maintenance and construction activities including asset restrictions from the ministry's maintenance services.
Coordinate traveller information with other information service providers including other transportation operations centres, municipal governments, border agencies bridge/tunnel operating agencies, etc.
